14 Years VIC SummerCamp |

Together with the Niederösterreichische Kinderfreunde, the VIC Working Parent's Club organizes each summer, a day camp for children 4 to 13 years of age
For this year our Summer Camp will operate during the following period:
From 29 June to 28 August 2009 Monday through Friday 8:15 to 17:15
At the Sportcenter Donau City, Arbeiterstrandbadstrasse 128, A-1220 VIENNA (100 meters from VIC Gate 3) e-mail: VICSummerCamp@unvienna.org
The Camp is intended in the first instance for children of VIC staff and diplomats; capacity permitting, other children from the international or Austrian communities will also be accepted. |

The Sportcenter Donau City is located between the VIC on the one side and the (U1) U-Bahn station "ALTE DONAU" on the other side.
Parents can drop off their children on the way to work as of 8:15 am and pick them up on the way home no later than 5:15 pm.

Children are supervised by qualified multilingual staff (see attached guidelines and rules for staff and volunteers). The camp is intended to be a recreational camp and not a learning camp for the children, who during the school year are under considerable pressure to perform up to expectation. At the request of many parents and on a trial basis, English, French and German lessons are being offered.
Children come from all parts of the world and are encouraged to feel proud of their ethnic background, the language they speak and their beliefs
